POSITION SUMMARY
In this role you will be accountable for the commercial supply chain activities for a CHC Business unit portfolio, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service and working capital are achieved.
The scope of the role includes Demand review, Supply Planning and Inventory Management and will also act as the commercial supply chain interface into the suppliers.
This will involve working as part of an internal cross-functional CHC Business unit with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Technical Operations, Finance, Quality and Regulatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the role are as follow:
• Be the Supply Chain (SC) representative within a CHC Business unit, aligning the SC plans to the business unit strategy and having an instrumental impact on the performance of the CHC Business unit
• Provide additional support to RX Business Unit based on the needs of the business if required by direct manager
• Lead the demand review process together with Commercial for your Business unit as part of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Collaborate with commercial organization to ensure demand plans accurately reflect latest market intelligence and assumptions (which improve forecast accuracy and bias)
• Define the planning parameters for your portfolio in collaboration with Group Supply Chain
• Own and be accountable for your SC master data
• To ensure supply plans are in place that support both customer service and working capital objectives (inventory health)
• Act as the interface between commercial and in-house supply, ensuring collaboration around demand and supply, balancing service, inventory health and operational efficiency
• Improve cross-functional collaboration especially between key stakeholders e.g., customer service, sales, marketing, finance
• Deliver improvements in SC KPI’s; forecast accuracy, forecast bias, OTIF, DOH and DIO
• Improve Inventory Health: optimize stock, reduce SLOBS and write-offs
• To ensure key business processes are executed and supported to a high standard and are continuously improved e.g., S&OP, stock out control, stock provisioning
• To proactively drive and support change within the supply chain, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting the prioritization and implementation of them QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum three years supply chain planning and/or demand management experience ideally in the FMCG and/or pharmaceutical sectors. Experience in trading company is a plus
• Ideally degree qualified
• Experience of SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience of S&OP implementation is an advantage
• Good understanding of inventory management techniques to optimize service and inventory health
• Strong communication skill as a must
